A nice change of pace.

The animation style has been altered (since last I checked) and the gameplay has been revamped. Enemies no longer drop ammo boxes, which makes more sense, you can buy upgrades, and the gameplay has gotten much more interesting with all the little tweaks. Stands apart from the others, I really enjoy that. My only 2 complaints are 1. the steep slope of upgrade costs, going from 8,000 to 100,000, to 2,000,00 and 2. that easily more than 1/2 of the content is locked unless you play on facebook, which is a pretty cheap move if you ask me. Regardless, its heavily entertaining, definitely my favorite BoxHead yet.

Obviously, motherload comes to mind.

What surprised me though, was that this game was, in my opinion, a significant downgrade from motherload. Here's the 5 biggest differences:
1. Fog where you haven't explored and radar with it, rather annoying as it takes 4 hours to drill about idly to get everything.
2. Coolant system was heavily required and didnt get you too far, also the incline on price was ridiculous (in my opinion anyways)
3. Physics and graphics were lower-grade.
4. You can drill upwards
5. No earthquakes, meaning limited resources.

Overall, not bad, but not dazzling either, obviously a lot of effort went into this regardless, but to me at least, it feels somewhat redundant.

Also, TheRandomDot, Fuel meter isn't reading low for no reason, "low fuel" is entirely relative to your depth, as lower = more fuel needed to reach the surface.

Once again, been-done concept, fairly good execution, but only a few differences at the core level.

Great game...

But it needs a walkthrough or at least more instruction. I'm all the way up to the thermal laser grid room, and after that I haven't a fucking clue what to do. Parkour'd over the wall using the cars, dove in through the vents in the art room to the other room, got the donuts, baited the guard and let him smudge the keypad, then used the 5 keypad keys in order of most to least smudged (less powder = later key), and managed to, by guessing and trial and error (still not sure how the fuck) lockpicked the doors, opened the 2nd elevator, but then the thermal grid fucks me over. Not a clue what to do, I've scoured EVERY room for any method I can use, I've tried crawling, sprinting, diving in the pool, everything. Seriously, walkthrough or more instruction.

Aside from that, pretty good game, although the objectionable content is high, but that's newgrounds for you.

Its alright...

But there are a few areas of notable complaint. Here's my breakdown.
1. Physics were very rough, gravity felt like you were on the moon and jumping was equally slow.
2. No real way to heal yourself, like avoiding damage for X amount of time or powerups.
3. This one's kinda out there, but the parry sound effect had the effect of silverware on a ceramic plate for my ears, a tad too sharp.
4. No manual blocking ability, you'd just have to stand there for an auto-block.
5. Only a single stage of play

Overall, the graphics and animation quality was fairly good, but the game mechanics, including animation speed, were a little rough.

Anyways, good luck in the future,

Fairly good game.

It didn't stray horribly outside the usual defense genre formula, but the way it was presented was very nice. The most notable thing about the gameplay was the incorporation of the AI partner. Adds more strategy to your battle-plan, and also had the very nice touch that it took them a while to get familiar with a weapon. I'm not sure exactly why some people are offended by this, obviously it's a (heavily) exaggerated effect of the drugs, used for comedic effect or something of the like. One thing I would've preferred is a way to repair your fortress at the cost of money, but it's not a major concern because you can continue from just about anywhere, and most damage can be avoided if you hurry on advancing your weaponry.

Thanks for your opinion.

Haha, its a nice joke,

So many people complained over the insane difficulty of the previous 2 that you decided to appease them. I honestly thought it was fairly amusing. Also lol at the guy below me, in your statement of how this treats us like idiots, you misspelled the word "our" for "are". Funny shit all-in-all. Maybe one day you can make a LastMan game that won't piss people off with the difficulty, and won't anger them at how overly easy it is (although this was most obviously intentional). Kinda like the series as it challenges the very limit the player's capabilities.

Great game.

If someone ever told me I'd be a flying turtle jumping on starscream's face and shooting him with a glock repetitively, I'd say they were crazy. However I ended up doing just that, and having a hell of a time doing so. I did experience an annoying bug, however. After I earned the achievements for killing every small enemy and killing 20 spikes in one game, the game told me I had accomplished it, but the medals never actually registered. I theorize that this is a result of using cookies to track achievements (helpful for not having to start over on part-way medals), but because it uses cookies as opposed to the GetMedal() Function, if the medal didnt register, I have no practical way to re-earn it except for wiping my game and starting over and hoping it works THAT time.

Hell, good game. Ain't gonna rate it down because of medals (they're tiny testaments to nothing)

Great but needs some stuff.

Good game, lots of achievement to reach toward, but it really lacks a solid formula for survival, because its not a matter of devastating zombie numbers, but instead be fast, be tough, and kill zombies in moderation as killing them all at once gets you swarmed like crazy, but if you just run in circles and shoot about 10 zombies max at a time, they flood in in numbers you can quickly pack into the rest of the herd. Also I'd like to be able to buy health as I stockpile 25,000+ dollars without any good place to spend it.

Wow, captivating gameplay.

Works fantastic with 2 people, but still manageable with 1. The elaborate use of WASD & Arrow Keys way a great choice, as players use them often. The result makes multitasking relatively easy and very natural feeling. Great job on this, although the hit boxes were a little screwy, but other than that, great job on this, felt like it brought a new concept to the table.

Great game.

Really combines a lot of genres, best description I can muster is Mincraft + RPG Adventure + Pokemon, but that falls a bit short. I have to admit that the over-polished graphics led me to believe some sort of generic polished art, generic genre, generic advertisement induced game, but you proved me wrong like no other, gameplay's fantastic, but ice is a bit buggy, frustrating as hell at times. Main bugs are walking at about 1/4 speed if you melee thrust yourself off the ice, dangerous one. However, the OTHER bug is even more dangerous, if you use just about any attack while you have an enemy cornered on ice, you fly into them, even if you stopped sliding before doing so, so your backing them into the corner bashing of doom is more like suicidal plunge after plunge, really sucks with the fiery fox boss, had to burn 3/4 of my health potions. Final problem was collecting duplicate pet eggs, as pet leveling was terribly linear and you couldn't sell or craft with eggs, not even like an omelet (yea I'm terrible, turn babies into food) But it was rather fun collecting a bit of each and leveling with them, kickin ass in an army of two fashion.

Fantastic Work, keep it up!
