You have the essence of random and nonsensical animation down, but the voice acting killed the entire package since it's a mock commercial which is narrated at all times. The voice acting was hard to understand and quite crude in itself, subtitles would've been a crowning touch on this. Think you're already aware of the voice acting bit though.

Not bad, made me laugh a bit, but there's improvement to be done.

Such universal nostalgia. Recently picked up a ps1 emulator and the entire crash series for my pc, good stuff, and as a guy whos played since he was a kid I could relate SO badly to this, particularly in crash bandicoot 1, which was pretty awful.

One thing though: why doesn't he jump on he crate and quickly do a 180 back onto the ledge, got 20 lives to practice. XD

Good stuff, absolutely magic.

Delightful, as always. I always love these yearly birthday animations/songs you release, as they have a level of depth and some seriousness but still enough humor to make you smile and laugh.

Harry's back with style. I'll admit his lessened activity as of late has been somewhat of a letdown, but this was an absolutely fantastic comeback. Carrying twisted humor and the right balance of random and self depreciation, it's absolutely trademark Patridge.

Hysterical.

Okay. This one needs a lot of breakdown I think. While watching this I thought to myself "wut" because the art and presentation was great, but it was very far from "wow" factor. To explain what I think could use work, I'll break this down into primary categories that stood out to me, personally.

Drawing: (4/5)

The art itself is great. No getting around that. It represents very keen points of cartoon atmosphere with a level of definition and general quality that was extremely pleasing to the eyes. This quality was easily that of things you'll find on mainstream television, if not sometimes MORE. Why not a 5? Some of the character postures seemed awkward and unbelievable at many points, and although that ties into other factors, it still strikes me as a general drawing point as well.

Animation: (2/5)

The animation for transitioning between main stances was extremely awkward and unnatural feeling, generally diminishing the excitement as it seemed less... believable. A lot of the "camera work" as I would call its flash equivalent, was also very ill-placed and moved weird, taking a lot of pizzazz out of things along the way. The animation it self wasn't buggy or COMPLETELY unacceptable though, so it definitely could've been worse. Simply put: in comparison with the rest of the art, it seemed very off and sapped a lot of the magic away from the visuals.

Sound: (2/5)

Save a few sound effects, this movie was completely devoid of actual noises, but had music along the way. The music itself had a decent sound to it, but was very loop reliant and not necessary super catchy or mood-inducing. Felt kind of flat.

Choreography: (1/5)

I think there's a point where you have the basic point A and point B (drawing), you have how you transition (animation), and you have what you actually PLAN as point A, B, and so forth as being. For this piece, the movie really seemed lacking in how the movements were planned... the action poses were kinda odd and didn't feel fluid as well as seeming almost contradictory at some points relative to how things were supposedly moving. Overall I think this was the largest killer of excitement, that the action wasn't gripping, mind-blowing, or even just destructive dirty fun as much as what is defined as "good action", and ultimately planning is a huge building block in the equation of things.

I felt my rant got a tad too negative towards the end, so let me reiterate my main point: This looked great and for all purposes was good, but some key parts prevent this from making me go "holy shit!" even though it's very action-oriented. I enjoy your work and hope to see more in the future, so keep it up!

Overall: 6/10, 3/5 ~WCCC

Thanks for a very detailed review, mate! Sure it was negative, but in a good way. I'll make sure to take note of the things you've said and apply them to my future projects. :)

I hesitated about a week for watching this because I thought it'd have lots its charm since its inception, but god I've never been so wrong. This is perhaps the best work yet, seeming so bizarre yet very coordinated and amusing in countless tiny ways. Fantastic work!

Not sure how I haven't seen any of your previous work until this year, but I loved the animation. Loved the choreography, art quality, animation detail, everything. Oddly enough my instinct said "let's do a 9" but then I stopped and thought "wait wait, how is this a 9, I have literally 0 complaints about this video."

Anyways, this guy is masterpiece,

Thanks so much i like this review it means a lot for me xD

Hmm, these seem to follow a very strict pattern. At this point it's no wonder it's about proper behaviors or aspect being applied into the mission at hand, which I find kind of fun, you know what to expect and it doesn't necessarily strip away the fun, such as House being a successful TV show built on this idea, but the actual cartoons themselves are (intentionally) short and somewhat unrewarding for entertainment value. I keep watching every one of these for some reason, and I know you guys are juggling shit-loads of animating based on how many shorts you're cranking out on a weekly basis, but it feels like something is lacking.

Overall, 4/5, 8/10.

Short and interesting, would love to see an actual madness combat fight in hell, under those similiar circumstances. Aside from that, humorous. Also the preloader seems a bit glitched? It had an "empty" loading bar then just snapped straight to play. Awaiting more new animations, as I find them fun.

Rapheus responds:

Yeah, for some reasons flash ads refused to work with me. I'll check the code. Thanks for the good rating!

Not bad. The series finale was definitely interesting with a lot of twists and turns, but the actual action and animation seemed a bit off compared to some of the others in the series. The drawing seemed lacking at certain points and the action almost intentionally diverted at critical points in exhange for cinematic "you know what happened" type of stuff. Also some of the actual movement was akward, such as at one point when XV/Omega was raising his head to face the "camera", the mouthpart mutation bits didn't keep a constant alignment relative to the head.

Still not bad and has potential for a new sub-series of sorts I personally hope comes along, but I'm guessing those "reasons too boring to list" were a slue of technical problems and difficulties.

Cheers, mate. Good series all in all.
